Previously, he began his career as a consultant with BDO,

an international accounting and consulting company.

He spent the majority of his career in various roles with an international packaging company,

including serving as President of its Mexican operations.

He also served in a Non-Profit leadership role for several years.

"Barber Packaging Company is a family owned and operated business, which provides protective packaging for numerous applications. As with all businesses, the work is both rewarding and challenging. When my husband and I decided that it was time to begin the transition process to our son, we contacted Don Van der Zwaag from The Vantage Group.
Don’s experience in acquisition and transition planning was evidenced by his effective communication skills and his ability to listen to the needs and desires of his clients. During the transition process, my husband passed away unexpectedly.
